About the Role

The AI Infrastructure Engineer will own and maintain our AI infrastructure on GCP, powering voice assistants, message routing, and knowledge retrieval systems. You will build new AI capabilities, manage existing systems, and partner with clinical and product stakeholders to ensure our AI services meet LifeMD’s standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain AI infrastructure including deployment pipelines and testing frameworks.
  • Build new AI capabilities and maintain existing services.
  • Develop and maintain AI evaluation models for regression testing.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems for performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI testing into pipelines.
  • Manage BigQuery datasets, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Python and cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP.
  • Experience with AI/ML systems and APIs like OpenAI, Pinecone, etc.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Strong grasp of data engineering concepts, including SQL and BigQuery.
  • Ability to build robust testing frameworks with proper error handling.

  • Eagerness to work with AI technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Detail-oriented: well-documented code and comprehensive tests.
