Job Description

Overview

Lifemark Health Group, a trusted national healthcare leader, is seeking a Director, IT Integration M&A. This hybrid role requires 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, available at Brampton, North York, or Calgary.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for leading the complete technology lifecycle related to mergers and acquisitions, spanning from technical due diligence, integration planning, to post-merger stabilization. Reporting to the VP, Technology and Analytics, you will act as the primary IT stakeholder for the Corporate Development and Post-Merger Integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Due Diligence: Architect and own IT due diligence, assess target companies' technologies, quantify risks, and present findings to executive leadership.
  • Integration Planning & Execution Governance: Develop a master IT integration playbook, manage budgets, resource models, hardware procurement, network integration, and data migrations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serve as the key technology liaison, chair steering meetings, and translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cutover, Stabilization & Continuous Improvement: Oversee go-live activities, onboard new team members, and lead post-mortem reviews for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of IT leadership experience with 5+ years focused on M&A integration or large-scale transformation. Expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365/Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise applications is essential. Strong communication, negotiation skills and business acumen are required. PMP, PgMP or similar certification is an asset, and French language skills are a bonus.
