Overview

The Technical Product Manager plays a critical role in aligning business goals with technical execution, bridging the gap between product vision and hands-on software delivery.
Role and Responsibilities
This role is deeply technical, requiring background knowledge in software engineering, solution architecture or technical systems analysis. It involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Technical Solutions Analysts, and Engineering teams to translate strategic roadmaps into actionable engineering deliverables.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog balancing business and technical needs.
- Plan sprints, coordinate engineering, QA, and cross-functional discovery sessions.
- Author detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies and refine user stories.
- Report on IT delivery performance including tracking sprint and delivery metrics.
- Maintain detailed sprint documentation and support release coordination.
- Partner with engineers ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and team practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in Agile software development environments are required. The candidate must have strong communication skills, technical proficiency in software architectures, APIs, databases and proven Agile experience using tools like JIRA.
- Demonstrable experience in software engineering, system design, or technical product ownership.
- Familiarity with .NET, REST APIs, SQL Server, and modern front-end frameworks is preferred.
- CSPO or equivalent Agile Product Owner certification is an advantage.
