Overview
As the Senior Director Enterprise AI ML Product Management at Liberty Mutual Insurance, you will lead a team of Product Managers to drive the next-generation AI/ML technology platform. Your products empower data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to build, train, govern, and deploy advanced models that deliver measurable business value.
About the ED&DS Team
The Enterprise Data & Data Science (ED&DS) team provides centralized product support and expertise to data science teams globally. The focus is on developing best-in-class AI/ML technologies, driving convergence in AI/ML execution, and supporting enterprise AI programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set Vision & Strategy: Define and evolve the enterprise AI/ML technology product strategy aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
- Product Leadership: Guide creation and delivery of scalable infrastructure, tooling, and platforms for model development and deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various technical teams to translate enterprise needs into actionable roadmaps.
- Portfolio & Investment Management: Lead prioritization across multiple product areas while shaping investment proposals.
- Metrics & Impact: Establish KPIs to measure platform adoption, efficiency, and business impact.
- People Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and engineering teams.
What You Bring
- Visionary, customer-centric leadership with technical and strategic depth.
- Experience in managing large teams and developing product leaders.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, MLOps, and data science infrastructure.
- Proven track record in platform product leadership and strategic agility.
- Strong collaboration skills across complex organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 15+ years of related experience; Master’s degree preferred. Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments is a plus. Prior experience managing large teams is essential.
