Overview

As a Senior Claims Representative, your responsibilities include reviewing and processing simple to moderately complex Commercial claims within assigned authority limits, following policy and legal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Investigate claims through internal and external resources.
- Interact directly with insureds, claimants, agents, and internal customers.
- Analyze investigation data, policy terms, and determine coverage.
- Establish and adjust claim reserve requirements as needed.
- Negotiate settlement amounts within authorized limits.
- Prepare or review property and auto damage estimates.
- Take statements and collaborate with field, subrogation, and SIU teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and current claim files and documentation.
- Alert leadership about potential fraud or subrogation opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience with claims handling, strong customer service skills, technological proficiency, and strong organizational and communication skills. Licensing may be required in multiple states.
Work Environment
This role is hybrid. You will be required to visit the office twice a month when located within 50 miles of Plano, TX; Hoffman, IL; Suwanee, GA; or Boston, MA. Liberty Mutual offers extensive benefits, comprehensive training, and a diversified, inclusive work culture.
