Overview
The Business Lead - Reinsurance Tech Modernization at Liberty Mutual Insurance supports reinsurance operations by providing financial, analytical and claims insights while driving technology initiatives to transform post placement ceded reinsurance operations globally.
Strategic Initiative Support
This role develops deep understanding of current post placement reinsurance processes, articulates business requirements, translates them into measurable business value, and ensures stakeholder consensus. The Business Lead manages risk through thorough testing and effective UAT execution.
Additional Responsibilities
Act as the key contact for IT squads and product owners, oversee non-technical deliverables, coach team members, and drive employee development while ensuring quality and timeliness across initiatives.
Qualifications
A BS degree in accounting, finance or business is required, alongside a minimum of 10 years of management experience and strong reinsurance operational knowledge. Experience with large reinsurance technology initiatives is preferred.
