Job Description

The Director, Business Systems is a strategic leader responsible for evolving and managing information systems critical to business performance and growth. In this role, you will define and implement the business systems technology roadmap and manage projects for systems optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Management: Define and communicate the evolution of business systems aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Project Management & Implementation: Oversee D365 CRM evolution and other system projects (ERP, BI, etc.).
  • Systems Optimization: Continuously improve global business systems and adopt new technologies.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement solutions to boost system performance, access to data, and decision-making.
  • Requirements & Configuration: Collaborate with business teams to define clear system requirements and engage with partners.
  • Training & Change Management: Design workshops, produce documentation, and drive end-user adoption.
  • Systems Support: Ensure day-to-day support and rapid resolution of system issues.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with external suppliers and consultants.
  • People Management: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, setting objectives and enabling growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with IT and other departments to align strategies and communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field (Master's is an asset). Minimum 10 years of progressive team management and extensive business systems experience (CRM, ERP, BI, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft business solutions, IT project management, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and executive teams is required. The role demands bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Experience in implementing AI tools and industry-specific knowledge.
