Job Description

The Associate Scientist II, Process Development, based in Middleton, United States, will assist in improving efficiency, quality, and robustness of procedures related to enzymes, competent cells, NGS kits, and analytical testing. This role involves tech transfer, process development, and various duties as assigned by management.

  • Assist development projects in cell line creation, manufacturing, formulation, or analytical development.
  • Process, record, analyze, and report data using good documentation practices.
  • Create batch records, test method templates, and SOPs to optimize production.
  • Develop stability reports and support investigations for process deviations and product non-conformances.
  • Communicate technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (molecular biology, microbiology, or biochemistry) or equivalent; experience in manufacturing, quality control, or technical teams; familiarity with biologics production processes and standard analytical techniques; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with process and analytical equipment, drafting production records, and knowledge of GMP and ISO 13485 quality systems.
