About The Role

As a Legal Content Specialist - Financial Services, you will lead the development of high-impact regulatory content that helps Australia’s largest businesses navigate a complex regulatory environment.
You will take charge of developing, curating, and refining content within our Financial Services portfolio. You will collaborate with authors, compliance officers, consultants, and internal teams including sales, marketing, and editorial to ensure the content remains current and practical.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Ownership: Manage the content lifecycle including strategy, development, commissioning, restructuring, and decommissioning.
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of legislative reform, case law, compliance trends, and industry developments.
- Customer-Centric Development: Gather customer insights to shape practical and relevant content.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with specialist lawyers, consultants, regulators, and professional bodies.
- Sales & Marketing Enablement: Support product value proposition, go-to-market plans, training, and client presentations.
- Revenue & Strategy: Support budgeting and revenue growth through new content proposals.
- Project Delivery: Drive authoring projects ensuring quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
- University law degree or equivalent with legal and compliance experience.
- 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in financial services, banking, insurance, or corporate compliance.
- Strong legal drafting and editing skills.
- Experience in content/product development, publishing, or legal technology is desirable.
- Strategic thinking with commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
