Environmental Services Project Manager (ESPM)

Position Overview:

As an Emergency Services Project Manager, you will drive customer success and ensure the delivery of critical environmental projects. You will work under the Director of Emergency Response and collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to develop, manage, and grow key customer accounts. This role challenges you to plan, execute, and manage complex projects while working with diverse teams to deliver results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and project scoping.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts effectively.
  • Oversee timelines, cost controls, and resource utilization.
  • Lead teams and motivate project members and contractors.
  • Implement contingency plans for proactive problem solving.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Business Development teams.
  • Monitor health and safety standards on site.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to improve future outcomes.

  • Proven leadership in customer account and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk identification and quick decision-making.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Position Requirements:

  • 2-4 year college degree.
  • 1-3 years of environmental project management or related experience.
  • Knowledge in project scoping, environmental regulations, and safety standards (preferred).

Physical & Travel Requirements:

Includes regular sitting, standing, walking, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs) and some travel to client sites.
