Role Overview

The UX Designer - Remote role is focused on both Insight & Analytics and Reporting responsibilities. This position works closely with product managers, researchers, and a design director. The role emphasizes strong visual design skills and the ability to simplify complex UX interactions.

Team Structure

Current team: 7 members with a goal of hiring 11 by the end of the year. The team is spread across NYC and London, ensuring diverse collaboration.

Product Responsibilities

  • Insight & Analytics: Optimize performance or reduce costs with clear dashboards.
  • Reporting: Simplify complex UX interactions, with focus on logic, user patterns, and flows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates should have experience in finance/insurance under regulatory constraints and be comfortable working with large institutions. A diverse industry background is preferred over startup-only experience.

Tools & Deliverables

  • Design Tools: Figma (primary), Miro for journey mapping
  • Other Tools: Basic familiarity with AI prototyping tools
  • Deliverables: Figma files in 2-week sprints, discovery sessions, and an MVP release in November
