Role Overview: Temporary Data Entry Specialist
The Temporary Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately inputting and managing patient and administrative information within electronic systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of medical records and other documentation that supports clinical and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into internal databases, spreadsheets, and content management systems.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, managing corrections as needed.
- Maintain organized digital records and ensure data is stored securely and in compliance with HIPAA, KGS, and agency guidance.
- Transcribe data from various sources, verifying its accuracy, and correcting errors.
- Manage digital records efficiently and sometimes generate reports.
- Enter patient information into the computer system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare various reports as requested by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
Skills and Qualifications Needed
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding medical information.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and typing skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Ability to work in a high-paced, high-volume data entry environment.
