About the Supplier Quality Engineer Role

Lensa, on behalf of Capgemini, is promoting a position for a Supplier Quality Engineer in their Manufacturing & Operations Practice. This role is focused on ensuring supplier quality excellence across aerospace and manufacturing projects through quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role

• Implement and track KPIs to evaluate supplier activities on aircraft assembly sites.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Manage costs of cabin parts repairs by collaborating with finance teams.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and develop corrective action plans.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex quality issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support cross-collaboration to drive quality excellence.
• Travel to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities as needed.

Must Have Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in supplier quality management
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• US Citizen, Green Card holder or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries
• Expertise in quality management systems, APQP, PPAP, 8D, and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical, project management and cost management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
