At Intuit, the internship provides hands-on exposure in key cybersecurity domains. Interns can work in:

  • Security Software Engineering: Focus on assessments, automation, back-end systems, encryption, or red teaming.
  • Security Analyst: Involve with compliance, forensics, incident handling, threat intelligence, and third-party security.

What You'll Bring

Candidates must have an awareness of core cybersecurity concepts and desire to grow in a technical environment. Excellent communication skills are required. For Software Engineering, a solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or C++ is needed. Security Analyst candidates should have knowledge in risk analysis, cyber forensics, compliance frameworks, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), or experience with Git. Participation in CTF competitions, personal projects or open-source contributions is a plus.

How You Will Lead

Interns will contribute by building secure software and infrastructure, assisting in identifying and remediating security flaws, developing scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline operations, and investigating emerging cyber threats. They will also help maintain essential security documentation.

Additional Information

This internship requires onsite presence at one of the following Intuit locations: Mountain View, San Diego, New York, or Atlanta. Compensation ranges from $37.00 to $67.30 USD per hour based on education and location.
