Job Summary: SQL Data Analyst
Lensa is promoting a unique opportunity for a skilled SQL Data Analyst to join the data team of a global law firm. This role is a year-long contract with potential for extension, operating remotely with a preference for EST hours (starting between 8-9 AM EST). As a SQL Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of a three-person data team, focusing on resolving integration issues for critical applications. Before the development of a comprehensive data lake, your primary responsibility will involve troubleshooting application integrations when issues arise. You will process requests from various teams, analyze them for errors, pinpoint the source of these errors, and devise solutions to modify existing SQL integrations and processing. This includes managing database schema changes and fulfilling ad hoc requests, such as validating new columns for existing application taxonomies to ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requests from various teams for changes to existing application integrations.
- Diagnose and pinpoint errors occurring within SQL integrations and processing.
- Develop and implement solutions to modify existing integrations.
- Manage database schema changes, including adding or modifying columns.
- Validate data integrity for new and existing columns within SQL databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SQL, focusing on writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving issues within SQL Server environments.
- Experience with database schema changes, including adding/modifying columns and validating data integrity.
- Familiarity with a law firm background and experience with InTapp is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from $45/hr to $50/hr, with exact compensation potentially varying based on location, skills, experience, and education. Employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Eligibility for the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits are also provided as required by applicable law.
