The Role of SQL Data Analyst
As a SQL Data Analyst, you will join a data team responsible for resolving integration issues for critical applications. This is a year-long contract role with potential for extensions, operating remotely but preferring EST hours, starting between 8-9 AM EST. Before the firm builds out a comprehensive data lake encompassing both internal and external data, ensuring seamless application integrations is paramount.
You will respond to requests from various teams and departments seeking changes to existing integrations. Your core responsibility will be to analyze these requests, precisely identify errors, pinpoint their origin, and develop effective solutions to modify existing integrations and processing within SQL. This will include database schema changes, such as adding or modifying columns and validating data integrity, as well as handling various ad hoc data requests. For instance, you might validate new columns for an existing taxonomy within the SQL database.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from $45/hr to $50/hr, with exact compensation varying based on factors like location, skills, experience, and education. Employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility for the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving issues within SQL Server environments.
- Experience making database schema changes, such as adding or modifying columns and validating data integrity.
- Law firm background is a plus, especially experience with InTapp.
