About the Role

Lensa, on behalf of Akamai, invites you to join the Enterprise Security Team as a Senior Enterprise Security Architect. At Akamai, you will be at the heart of the sales process, working as a technical evangelist to support customers in adopting cutting edge zero trust security and microsegmentation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead proof-of-concepts and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams
  • Engage in enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration
  • Strategize with customers towards agile and secure identity-centric models
  • Consult on and solve challenges related to next generation security transformation
  • Educate internal teams and partners on enterprise security portfolios
  • Influence product roadmaps with business priorities and customer requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in large, complex, customer-facing technical sales environments
  • Ability to present technical material to diverse audiences both in-person and virtually
  • Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection, and firewalls
  • Expertise in Zero Trust security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, and Microsegmentation
  • Understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes)
  • Fluency in English
