About The Sales Development Representative Role
The Sales Development Representative generates qualified and engaged leads for net2phone Canada. This involves researching, prospecting, and qualifying contacts for our sales team.
Our Marketing & Sales department leverages one of the most effective technology stacks, including state-of-the-art SaaS tools complete with AI, to help you identify and attract the right customers to our brand.
What You'll Do
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads across various verticals and geographic locations throughout Canada.
- Contact prospects through outbound phone calls.
- Enthusiastically engage in outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner.
- Successfully and accurately answer prospect questions and provide appropriate additional information to the Account Executives.
- Achieve defined productivity goals.
- Work closely with the SDR Manager to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
Reporting to the SDR Manager, the Sales Development Representative collaborates not only with the SDR team but also with the sales and marketing departments.
What You Need to Be a Sales Development Representative with Us
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking).
- 1+ year of experience in retail, hospitality, or software sales is ideal.
- Post-Secondary Education.
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM is ideal.
- Intermediate computer skills desired; ability to navigate multiple apps/platforms with ease.
- Energetic, outgoing, charismatic, and not afraid to overcome objections.
- Capable of having casual business conversations and convincing prospects to attend a platform overview demo.
This is a highly repetitive position, so selected candidates must be able to follow a tailored talk track and make 85-95 calls daily.

This hybrid role is a Monday to Friday work week for 37.5 hours a week, within the working hours of 8am-6pm EST. You must attend the office 12 days a month, with Tuesdays and Thursdays being required days each week.
