About the Role
The Safety Specialist, Latvia role at Thermo Fisher Scientific is an opportunity to engage in critical pharmacovigilance (PV) activities. You will work in a highly regulated environment, performing day-to-day tasks including monitoring, collecting, translating, and tracking safety information. Additionally, you may support global PV responsibilities, such as data entry, coding, assessment of adverse events, follow-up, and preparation of regulatory safety reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track safety information and adverse events.
- Collaborate with project teams, client contacts, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare regulatory safety reports and maintain documentation.
- Support on-call duties and meet strict deadlines.
- Participate in meetings, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with experience in pharmacovigilance and regulatory processes. Critical thinking, effective communication in English (and local language, if required), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail are essential. Experience with databases and comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment is required.
