Your Role and Responsibilities as a Remote Technical Support Specialist

As a Remote Technical Support specialist, you will assist with the maintenance and documentation of all facets of reliable, efficient customer service. This includes providing assistance to team members in the use of computer networks, workstations, and equipment. You will help with communications and information hardware and software, primarily focusing on client device systems and their efficient integration. A key part of your role will be providing help desk support via phone, computer, and through a ticketing system for issues related to desktop software, hardware, and peripherals. You will also provide 24-hour support for hardware and services critical to operations. Responsibilities include working within the ticketing system to create detailed work logs and technical documentation, using appropriate communication to inform the team of important issues, and coordinating with Operations and other computer users regarding procedures that might affect their work.
