As a Remote Pharmacist, you will be primarily responsible for reviewing and completing criteria-based prior authorizations, adhering strictly to established policies and procedures. This is a critical function requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Experience & Qualifications
Candidates for the Remote Pharmacist position should possess the following:
- Prior authorization experience is required.
- Previous pharmacy experience in retail or hospital settings is preferred.
- An appropriate active state license in good standing is mandatory for your state of residence.
- Basic computer skills are essential for navigating systems and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and detail orientation are highly valued.
- Must have managed care experience.
- Must have Medicare/Medicaid knowledge.
- Must have at least 6 months of prior authorization experience.
- Must have Medicare Part D experience.
- Must have Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.
Education
A Pharm D. degree is required, coupled with at least two years of experience as a pharmacist within a managed care environment.
