About the Remote Math/English Tutor Role

Responsibilities
The Tutor is responsible for assisting students in meeting their educational goals and aspirations through positive support and direct tutoring. The role includes enhancing study skills, facilitating understanding of educational concepts, and promoting critical thinking and problem solving in individual, group, virtual, or in-person settings.
Minimum Requirements
- Teacher Credential Certification/Licensure as required by state or contract
- Degree in Education or relevant field as required
- Experience in tutoring with preferred 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience or credential in Special Education (preferred)
- Current CPR, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate as applicable
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
