Job Overview
Insight Global is seeking a remote Project Manager/Scrum Master for a six-month contract with potential for full-time conversion. This role is ideal for an experienced professional to lead large-scale platform modernization and manage complex transformational programs.
Key Responsibilities
This is a dual role, encompassing both Scrum Master and Project Manager duties:
- Scrum Master (60%): Host daily standups, collaborate closely with the Product Owner, and utilize tools like Jira and RTC IBM for storyboarding.
- Project Manager (40%): Manage status reports, oversee workflows including budget management (up to $4 million annually), document processes using Clarity reports, and create executive-level presentations (PowerPoint) for L1, L2, and L3 teams.
- Facilitate technical and business discussions.
- Provide status updates, including risks and issues, to senior leadership.
- Manage teams within claims, including provider/member/claim flow.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience in healthcare or insurance, with a strong understanding of claims (provider/member/claim flow).
- Proficiency with PM/SM tools: Jira, Clarity (for budget management), IBM RRC, QuickBase, and SharePoint.
- Proven experience managing a project from end-to-end.
- Ability to effectively serve in dual Scrum Master and Project Manager roles.
- Experience managing budgets covering resource hours/costs, SOW, infrastructure, and cloud expenses.
- Experience managing 2-3 teams simultaneously.
- Skilled in Agile and Hybrid methodologies (e.g., Kanban).
- Strong capabilities in developing project plans, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
- Experience providing status updates, including risks and issues, to senior leadership.
- Ability to facilitate technical and business discussions effectively.
- RTC experience.
