About the Role

As a Regional Commodity Manager, you will develop, implement and lead sourcing commodity strategies for internal and external equipment used in high voltage electrical installation projects. You will be responsible for creating a competitive bid environment through supplier identification, development, and selection, as well as contract negotiations, market analysis and risk management ensuring a cost effective, reliable supply chain for GE Vernova.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies to meet project needs.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate master supply agreements and project-specific contracts.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality and Tender Sourcing Leaders.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes and drive key performance indicators.
  • Source and develop certified minority, veteran-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 7 years sourcing experience in high voltage electrical construction projects, including contracting and negotiation experience. Must be able and willing to travel up to 10% and comply with company travel and tax policies.
