Position Overview
The Project Management Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Project Manager in coordinating and tracking project activities, documentation, communications, and deliverables. The role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and progress reports.
- Maintain project files, logs, and change records.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track account requests ensuring timely completion.
- Assist with cost estimates and budget tracking.
- Coordinate communication between team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Gather data and prepare status updates, dashboards, or presentations.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain contact lists.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, administration or related field
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
- Basic budgeting and cost estimation understanding
- Skill in preparing clear and concise reports
- Adaptability to changing priorities
Work Environment & Conditions
Remote work with occasional in-person meetings. Physical requirements include seated work and light activity. Travel is not required.
