Position Summary for Physician

As a Staff Physician at SteadyMD, you will be crucial to our clinical operations, providing patient-centered, timely access to care across various programs. This full-time, remote role requires a commitment to high-quality care, flexibility, strong clinical acumen, and leadership to support program success. You will engage with patients via video, phone, and asynchronous communication, delivering care aligned with SteadyMD's commitment to excellence.

Position Overview

• Role: Staff Physician
• Location: Fully Remote
• Schedule: 40 hours a week - some weekends and evenings
• Compensation Range Annually: $200k-$250k

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring, and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations through video, phone (scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication for patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population, embodying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach in all care delivery.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset by training on and working across multiple programs as assigned and approved by the Medical Executive Committee.
• Act as a clinical leader within SteadyMD’s operations, setting high standards for care delivery, professionalism, and collaboration.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and multidisciplinary teams to enhance program performance and patient outcomes.
• Participate in all necessary supervision requirements for credentialing and licensure.
• Cooperate with all teams to obtain and maintain additional licensure and program-specific credentialing as needed.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted medical license (MD, DO) in at least 35 applicable states.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty required (Family Medicine, Med-Peds, Emergency Medicine).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Comfortable prescribing compound medication.
• Comfortable with complex chronic condition management.
• Availability to work a minimum of two full weekends per month.
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred.
