About the Role

The PhD Research Intern, Autonomous Vehicles role at NVIDIA focuses on cutting-edge research in AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology. Interns will work on foundational research to overcome critical challenges in vehicle autonomy.

What You Will Be Doing

You will design and implement innovative techniques in vehicle autonomy, publish original research, collaborate with internal product teams and external researchers, and transfer developed technology into product groups.

What We Need To See

  • Pursuing a PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Relevant research experience in vehicle/robot autonomy
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of vehicle/robot autonomy
  • A record of published research in top conferences and journals
  • Exceptional programming skills in Python with additional skills in C++ and CUDA as a plus
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
