As a Pharmacist, you will utilize your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews, including Prior authorizations, Coverage Exceptions, Quantity Limit exceptions, and more. You will complete these reviews independently amongst a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals.

Quality and performance are measured by monthly quality and productivity goals. All new Pharmacists are considered as potential long-term employees with a hope to hire on as permanent employees in the future, but a timeline on conversion cannot be guaranteed, and contracts are evaluated every 6 months for extension.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience working in a retail environment
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the candidate is licensed.

Hours

Starting between 9:00 AM-5:30 PM CST or 10:00 AM-6:30 PM CST, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
