Pharmacist, Business Analyst IT

This role is responsible for the crucial task of building and maintaining Epic Medication (eRx) Records. You will collaborate closely with operational partners to implement necessary changes and identify opportunities for enhancing workflow and application maintenance. The Pharmacist, Business Analyst IT will represent the Epic Willow team in various projects, fostering collaboration across different application teams. You will lead Willow-driven projects and work alongside operational subject matter experts and fellow application team members. Adherence to Change Management protocols, including build standards, testing, quality assurance, and technical documentation, is paramount. This position also requires providing non-prime call support.
For hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. areas, a minimum of four days per week in the office will be required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain eRx/medication records within Epic
- Perform regular updates to medication data as clinical practices evolve
- Collaborate with operational pharmacy partners and various IT teams to support pharmacy-related Epic applications
- Provide support for additional pharmacy applications, such as Omnicell, when required
- Function as an individual contributor within the pharmacy solutions team
- Provide non-prime call support
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Hold an active, licensed pharmacist certification
- Possess 2+ years of experience as a practicing pharmacist
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or Proficiency in Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory (New hires without this will be expected to complete it shortly after their start date)
- Have 2+ years of experience using and/or maintaining Epic Willow applications
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this role is influenced by several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $91,700 to $163,700 annually, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase opportunities, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
