About the Role
Pega Developer role at Pega Developer involves developing and maintaining Pega applications for a Department of Veterans Affairs project. You will work within Agile SAFe teams to build, test, and support Pega-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Pega applications in Agile teams.
- Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts.
- Design, maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging and performance monitoring using Pega tools.
- Ensure compliance with federal policies, privacy, and accessibility standards.
- Integrate databases, legacy software, and online services.
- Engage with stakeholders and take on additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or related field.
- 7+ years experience with Pega PRPC v7.x+ (Smart Claims & Healthcare Foundation).
- 3+ years Java development experience.
- CSSA certification required; LSA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, DCO, enterprise Class Structure, Ruleset design and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs or health organizations, multi-stakeholder Agile and DevSecOps environments, and ability to obtain government clearance are desired.
