As a National Security Solutions Software Engineering Intern, You Will:
- Provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager. Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work.
- Perform assignments designed to develop professional or technical work knowledge and abilities requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related tasks.
- Provide technical support in engineering, science, IT or related field working in areas such as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement.
- Perform simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures.
- Interpret complex information in a non-technical and engaging manner.
- Identify problematic areas in data and conduct necessary research to provide lasting solutions.
Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience, and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.
Anticipated Skill Set
- Bachelor's Degree (in the works) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any other scientific/engineering/technical degree with appropriate experience.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, Django, Bootstrap, and Data tables is preferable.

- Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
