Key Responsibilities

• Translate Spanish-language materials across operational and programmatic content.
• Perform machine translation post-editing to ensure professional quality.
• Proofread and review translations for accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct linguistic quality assurance and offer constructive feedback.
• Develop and maintain Spanish style guides and glossaries.
• Support desktop publishing tasks and collaborate with graphic designers.
• Help manage volunteer linguist evaluation, onboarding, and training.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for volunteer linguists.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in translation, linguistics, or language studies. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is expected. Bilingual Spanish/English competence is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include ATA certification and experience in volunteer services.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is approximately $60,000-$70,000, based on specific location and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K with match, paid family leave, and more.
