This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of critical software solutions. You'll contribute to an Agile/DevOps environment, leveraging your expertise in API testing, test plan development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Execute Quality Assurance activities to meet system standards and user requirements.
• Write, manage, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Utilize JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools for QA activities.
• Gain deep understanding of operating environments, business processes, and application functionality.
• Perform mobile testing across various platforms and operating systems.
• Author comprehensive Test Suites traceable to requirements.
• Validate data and reports using SQL and other relevant tools.
• Prioritize and plan quality control activities, regularly reporting on product quality.
• Conduct risk assessments for releases and contribute to bug reporting and triage.
• Identify, document, and track issues, coordinating with developers for resolution.
• Determine and execute appropriate testing strategies for each deliverable.
• Evaluate and improve automation systems, contributing to repeatable test automation or manual testing within the Agile Test Pyramid.
• Address client requirements and resolve complex problems related to industrial automation systems architecture and process implementation.

What You'll Need

• 5-8 years of experience in manual QA, with strong API testing skills.
• Excellent test case writing skills, capable of identifying positive and negative scenarios.
• Proficiency in JIRA and strong overall testing abilities.
• A strategic mindset for planning optimal testing strategies and delivery.
• Ability to clearly explain bugs and propose effective resolutions.
• Articulate, friendly, and proactive communication skills, willing to contribute in group discussions.
• Capacity to mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Working knowledge of quality testing, business process analysis, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Demonstrated creativity, analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven collaboration skills with technical peers and business partners.
