About the Role

The Manager of Events at Manager of Events leads Zayo’s events strategy and execution. This role oversees key customer-facing and internal events including trade shows, executive summits, and demand-generation experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Own end-to-end events strategy, develop a 12-month roadmap, and advise on high-impact events.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Lead and mentor an events team, manage agencies, and maintain scalable processes.
  • Event Execution Excellence: Deliver flawless execution of major events including sales kickoffs and industry summits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and People teams to align strategy with outcomes.
  • Measurement & ROI: Establish KPIs, report performance, and optimize strategies based on feedback.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years experience in event or experiential marketing including five years leading a team, with expertise in B2B events, project management, and executive communications. Experience with Salesforce, event tech platforms such as Splash or Cvent, and marketing analytics tools is required. Preferred background in telecom, infrastructure, or B2B SaaS.
