The Legal & Policy Team is Snap’s dedicated in-house law firm, policy consultant, lobbyist, thought partner, and all-around advisor. This team helps Snap do the right thing the right way, make better decisions, understand and manage risks, and creatively navigate challenges, both external and internal. We’re looking for a Manager, Compliance Investigations to join Snap’s Integrity & Compliance Team! This role can be based in one of the following offices: Santa Monica, CA; San Francisco, CA; Bellevue, WA or New York.
What You’ll Do
Case Management and Investigations:
- Triage and scope all Integrity and Compliance (I&C) cases, assigning those outside the team's purview and collaborating with stakeholders on owned cases.
- Gather case materials from HR, Legal, InfoSec, Global Security, and business partners.
- For externally managed investigations, select and manage outside counsel, providing case materials, defining scope, identifying interviews to conduct, reviewing findings, and identify and share remediation recommendations.
- For internally managed investigations, develop plans with stakeholders, conduct subject and witness interviews, draft and share findings, and develop remediation recommendations.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation in all relevant systems for all cases.
- Oversee Snap’s helpline and case management systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Snap’s investigations program and procedures.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality when interacting with all parties.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate reports of I&C cases.
- Draft case summaries as needed for reporting purposes.
- Identify patterns, trends, and risks emerging from investigations and recommend measures to mitigate future compliance risks.
Ethics Program Support:
- Handle various responsibilities related to Snap's ethics program, including: Updating relevant policies and procedures.
- Responding to team member inquiries.
- Reviewing and drafting responses to conflict of interest disclosures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of experience in In-House, Law Firm or Government investigation roles
- Strong work ethic and a team-first mindset — willing to take on tasks both big and small to get the job done
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing, drafting or investigating violations of Codes of Conduct, Whistleblower, Anti-Bribery and other standard company integrity and compliance policies

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.
Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.
Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
