Job Overview

Lensa, a career site partnering with Leidos, is seeking a Junior Software Developer to build and sustain mission-focused web applications for defense customers.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development in C#/ASP.NET, Vue.js, and SQL Server.
• Implement secure coding practices including input validation, logging, and error handling.
• Build RESTful APIs and develop T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and senior engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience or 4 years in lieu of degree.
• Basic experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js (or similar frameworks) and SQL Server.
• Understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, and relational database design.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unit/integration testing and performance profiling.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, and work item tracking systems like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Experience integrating APIs and handling authentication flows (OAuth/JWT).
• Ability to build accessible, responsive user interfaces with modern frameworks.
