Junior Quality Assurance Tester at ICF
Lensa is partnering with ICF to promote this job opportunity. As a Junior Quality Assurance Tester (Jr QA Tester), you will collaborate with experienced testers to ensure the highest quality standards for every user story.
The Work
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the creation of thorough and comprehensive test scripts. You will work alongside Associate and Senior testers to develop these scripts, provide detailed testing results, and communicate these findings to the development team. Familiarity with agile methodologies and strong time management skills are essential to ensure testing is completed within each sprint. You will interact directly with stakeholders and the technical team, requiring effective communication via phone, web conferencing, and MS Teams. Adhering to established processes, providing detailed pass/fail documentation, navigating the application, and understanding end-state functionality before sprint commencement are key aspects of this role.
Job Location
This is a remote position within the United States. Work must be performed in the United States due to federal contract requirements. ICF monitors employee work locations and restricts access from foreign locations or IP addresses, and prohibits personal VPN connections.
Core work hours are 9am - 5pm Eastern Time.
What You Will Do
- Assist Associate QAs with test scripts creation to accurately evaluate all functional criteria.
- Work with Associate and Senior QAs to provide detailed documentation of testing results for all stories and features.
- Participate in and eventually take ownership of authoring UAT scripts.
- Assist in UAT preparation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with the development team and clients to understand functionality, communicate testing results, and demo functionality to users.
- Operate within an agile framework, partnering with quality assurance testers, business analysts, developers, the training team, and the product owner to ensure solutions meet client needs with the highest quality.
- Test integrations.
- Provide assistance as needed to Associate and Senior QAs.
What You Will Bring With You
- US Citizenship is required (federal government requirement).
- Active Public Trust Clearance (any agency) or the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
- Must reside and perform work within the United States (U.S.) due to federal contract laws.
- 2+ Years of experience in quality assurance testing.
- 1+ years of experience reviewing and analyzing data and documentation related to system quality.
- 1+ years of experience authoring test scripts.
- 1+ years of experience testing all product backlog items (stories and tasks) and providing pass/fail documentation for each.
- 1+ years of experience working in an agile environment.
What We Would Like You To Bring With You
- Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance.
- Strong experience working in an agile environment.
- Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project.
- Experience working across multiple projects.
- Experience with ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, and App Engine.
- An active CSA.
- 1+ years of experience creating test scripts for UAT.
- Experience testing telephonic systems.

Pay Range: $67,355.00 - $114,503.00 annually, based on multiple factors including experience, skills, location, and education.
