Role Overview
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming complex business ideas into sustainable data processes. A primary focus will be supporting the onboarding of new lines of business into the data analytics team. Your responsibilities will encompass the full data engineering lifecycle, from gathering requirements to building data pipelines, testing, reporting, and maintaining solutions. You will also contribute to system development, process automation, internal system maintenance, and data modeling. Leveraging your evolving expertise in company-specific data structures, you will help convert raw data into actionable business insights.

Skills and Requirements
- 2-5+ years of data engineer experience
- Strong Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience: creating pipelines from scratch, knowledge of connectors and activities, following architectural plans
- Strong SQL knowledge: primarily working with SQL scripting for ADF implementation
- Understanding of the full data engineering lifecycle
- Exceptional detail orientation and ability to provide effective updates
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external customers
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Python or Spark experience (basic scripting and reviews in a small Python environment)
- DevOps Experience
- Data Bricks Experience
- Background in Logistics
