Role Overview

We are actively seeking a Junior AI/ML Engineer to play a crucial role in developing an enterprise AI chatbot and a sophisticated data intelligence system. This position focuses on building interactive AI agents capable of connecting to enterprise databases, generating valuable insights, and empowering informed decision-making across various business functions.

The role involves extensive hands-on experience in both Large Language Model (LLM)-based chatbot and agent development, as well as core machine learning tasks. You will be responsible for building predictive models and seamlessly integrating them into robust production workflows. This is a client-facing technical role that demands strong coding abilities, keen analytical thinking, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy innovative AI chatbot/agent solutions tailored for diverse enterprise use cases.
• Integrate LLM-based agents effectively with both structured and unstructured enterprise data sources.
• Establish connections between chat interfaces and SQL/enterprise databases, as well as internal APIs.
• Build and integrate a variety of machine learning models, including prediction, classification, and clustering, into applications.
• Execute critical data preprocessing, feature engineering, and rigorous model evaluation tasks.
• Integrate machine learning outputs directly into chatbot or workflow interfaces to enhance functionality.
• Provide support for the development and automation of robust data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and occasionally with clients to deeply understand and meet requirements.
• Document model logic, intricate workflows, and implementation details comprehensively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated strong Python programming skills.
• Practical, hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, or similar algorithms.
• Familiarity with key ML libraries including scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, or comparable tools.
• Proficiency in working with databases like SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with prominent LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or various open-source models.
• Experience in building robust APIs or backend services using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or similar.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• A graduate degree or active pursuit of an MS in AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with advanced agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Practical experience deploying or integrating machine learning models into live applications.
• Knowledge of vector databases or embedding techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Prior internship or project experience specifically in building AI/ML applications.
