Atlas Technica, partnered with Lensa, is seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer to join our expanding team. This position offers excellent career development in IT support and systems administration within a financial industry-focused managed service provider.
Position Details
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role reporting to the Client Technology Manager. The position is 100% dedicated onsite at a client's office, with a hybrid work arrangement based in Boston, MA. Candidates will work closely with Systems Engineers and Sr. Systems Engineers in a collaborative high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform IT support services to onsite users
- Utilize a ticketing system for managing support queries
- Maintain documentation and adhere to organizational guidelines
- Follow strict change control procedures
Requirements
- At least 1 year of IT experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and mobile device troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft 365 stack including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Azure AD
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Ability to travel periodically within the metropolitan area
- Physical ability to meet job requirements
Desirable Qualities
- Financial industry experience with market vendor applications such as Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, and FactSet
- Experience working in an MSP environment
- Exposure to Sophos or similar endpoint threat management products
- Understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with ConnectWise suite and vendors such as Google Workspace, Box, and Dropbox
