Your Role as a Javascript Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Javascript Developer to join our international team, contributing to the production of scalable software solutions. As part of a cross-functional team, you will be integral to the entire software development life cycle, from initial concept to deployment. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to participate in the architecture, design, development, launching, and maintenance of our web applications.

To succeed in this role, you should be proactive and eager to contribute, demonstrating a strong team-player attitude with a can-do approach. The ability to work under minimal supervision is essential, as is a passion for continuous learning. You must also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues in both Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and Astro.js.
• Handle real-time data updates, ensure fast user interactions, and manage complex states within applications.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to rapidly ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our shared component library and design system.
• Develop and evolve robust design systems.
• Adhere to modern high-quality development practices.
• Participate in the on-call shift rotation.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• 7+ years of experience in modern frontend engineering, with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and advanced CSS architecture.
• Proven track record in designing and scaling high-performance, real-time web applications (e.g., trading platforms, betting systems, live dashboards).
• Strong architectural understanding of state management patterns, performance optimization, rendering strategies, and frontend scalability.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining WebSocket-driven systems and handling complex real-time data synchronization.
• Understanding of event-driven systems, live odds updates, or real-time event tracking is a significant plus.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or Astro, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), routing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Experience designing, evolving, or contributing to a design system (including component architecture, theming, accessibility, and developer experience).
• Comfortable owning and improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment workflows.
• Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, understanding frontend application integration within containerized environments.
• Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor fellow engineers, and influence frontend architecture across multiple teams.
• Flexibility to collaborate with departments across different time zones.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level.
