Meaningful Work From Day One

As an IT Internal Auditor at Brown-Forman, you will be instrumental in the creation and execution of the annual IT audit plan. This includes overseeing IT audits, consultations, and ensuring IT SOX compliance. Your core focus will be on enhancing business systems, processes, and controls, thereby empowering management to achieve strategic objectives and resolve internal control challenges.

What You Can Expect

• Coordinate and lead audits/consultations with Internal Audit team members and business partners.
• Evaluate internal controls, adherence to company policies, and compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GDPR, data security, and cybersecurity.
• Meet annually with IT leaders to discuss risks in their areas.
• Analyze company-wide risks to develop and refine the IT audit plan, determining direction, emphasis, and scope.
• Ensure timely completion of work, provide updates, and oversee follow-up on agreed action plans.
• Collaborate with external auditors for the annual financial audit and Sarbanes-Oxley assessment related to IT environments.
• Prepare regular reports, including Audit Committee updates, for the VP and Director Internal Audit.
• Participate in diverse audits across various markets, locations, brands, and departments to broaden your knowledge of company operations and collaborate with employees at all levels.

What You Bring To The Table

• 2+ years of finance experience.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and IT Audit best practices.
• Ability to analyze financial activities, identify process strengths/weaknesses, and develop creative solutions for efficiency.
• Excellent technical skills, including developing and applying spreadsheets, database, and graphic presentations.
• Experience auditing computerized accounting/financial systems within ERP, network, and PC environments.
• Experience auditing financial statements and business processes for a global company.
• Experience auditing, managing, operating, or developing in an SAP environment.

What Makes You Unique

• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Experience traveling and working internationally.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol or consumer products industry.
• Previous experience at a Big 4 public firm.
