IT Asset Coordinator at Insight Global
This IT Asset Coordinator role supports our client's remote fleet management for a large U.S. enterprise environment, managing approximately 35,000 devices. The primary focus is on ensuring asset accuracy, achieving SLA performance, providing operational oversight, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, rather than direct ticket-based support. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring devices are properly titled and accounted for, researching asset discrepancies, managing necessary supplies, and holding vendors accountable to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Success in this position demands strong problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive ability to enhance processes using existing tools.
Asset & Device Management
- Verify and maintain accurate device records, including correct device titling and lifecycle status.
- Research asset discrepancies, such as determining if devices were added, updated, or missed.
- Support IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change)-related asset updates and comprehensive documentation across various systems, including ServiceNow.
Supplies & Order Management
- Order, track, and effectively reconcile device-related supplies.
- Monitor shipments, resolve any discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
SLA & Vendor Performance Management
- Monitor HP’s performance meticulously against defined SLA metrics and contractual commitments.
- Identify potential risks, existing gaps, and emerging trends that could impact SLA compliance.
- Proactively escalate critical issues and recommend effective corrective actions to keep services on schedule.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to better leverage existing tools and available data.
- Drive significant efficiencies through ongoing process improvements and workflow optimization.
- Simplify manual or fragmented processes into repeatable, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and key customer stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide clear, concise operational updates and valuable insights as required.
