About Intern - Technical Product Owner
Labcorp is seeking a motivated summer intern to join its IT team as a Technical Product Owner. This internship is part of the Labcorp 2026 Global Internship Program, a 12-week paid opportunity designed for students looking to make an impact in healthcare innovation.
Program Overview
Interns will gain exposure to Labcorp's global business functions, leadership through senior leader interactions, and a dynamic in-person intern event. You will participate in enterprise-wide learning experiences, mentoring sessions, and community engagements organized by Labcorp.
Internship Details
- Duration: 12 weeks, full-time from May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026
- Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
- Eligibility: Rising juniors and seniors or any student in a related program
- Compensation: $22-$25/hr with additional benefits for eligible employees
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in product strategy development with a technology focus
- Support sprint planning, grooming, execution, and release management
- Participate in demo sessions, design reviews, and sprint task planning
- Help define product requirements, workflows, and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, clinical teams, and stakeholders
Education, Requirements & Skills
Candidates should have strong communication and collaboration skills, a keen interest in IT product management and agile methodologies, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with Agile methods and attention to detail are essential.
