General Position Execution Expectations
The Instructional Systems Designer will use established instructional design principles to develop both instructor-led and web-based interactive multi-media training content. Responsibilities include job task analysis, establishing clear learning outcomes, developing lesson plans, storyboards, instructional video scripts, and assessments.
- Assess training projects for instructional soundness and technical accuracy.
- Design synchronous and asynchronous courses with interactivity.
- Create written and performance tests linked to learning objectives.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts on simulations and training scenarios.
- Develop various training materials including slides, guides, checklists, and videos.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or a related discipline and at least ten years of experience. Proficiency in Articulate Storyline360 is required. Experience with Blackboard and SuccessFactors LMS is preferred. Applicants must be US Citizens and pass a background investigation for a Public Trust position.
