Role Overview: Information Security Analyst
This new, evolving position works directly with the Chief Information Security Officer and cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain Atlas Technica's and its clients' security posture.
Responsibilities
- Vulnerability Management: Review vulnerability reports, research remediation solutions, collaborate with Support/NOC and CS/Engineering, and track progress in ticketing systems.
- Risk Management and Due Diligence: Respond to DDQs, analyze risk assessments and penetration tests, and participate in impact analyses and tabletop exercises.
- Industry Benchmark and Standards: Measure alignment with Microsoft Intune benchmarks and harden security configurations for workstations and cloud infrastructures.
- SOC 2 Maintenance: Conduct test restores, review KnowBe4 phishing tests, analyze SIEM logs, and support cybersecurity incidents along with additional tasks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, SIEM, IDS/IPS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and security benchmarks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with security tools, scripting, and runbook documentation.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in an MSP environment.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-500, SC-900, SC-300, or CompTIA Security+.
