Responsibilities
- Vulnerability Management: Review vulnerability reports, research remediation, collaborate with Support/NOC, automate fixes, and track progress using ticketing systems.
- Risk Management and Due Diligence: Address DDQs, analyze risk assessments and penetration tests, recommend mitigations, and participate in business impact analyses.
- Benchmark Alignment and Standards Updating: Measure and improve security alignment using Microsoft benchmarks in Intune and harden systems.
- SOC 2 Maintenance and Additional Tasks: Perform test restores, review phishing tests and SIEM logs, and assist in cybersecurity incident remediation.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and security benchmarks.
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and automation platforms (RMM/SOAR).
- Experience scripting and writing runbooks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in an MSP environment.
- Relevant certifications (AZ-500, SC-900, SC-300, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
