Responsibilities

  • Vulnerability Management: Review vulnerability reports, research remediation, collaborate with Support/NOC, automate fixes, and track progress using ticketing systems.
  • Risk Management and Due Diligence: Address DDQs, analyze risk assessments and penetration tests, recommend mitigations, and participate in business impact analyses.
  • Benchmark Alignment and Standards Updating: Measure and improve security alignment using Microsoft benchmarks in Intune and harden systems.
  • SOC 2 Maintenance and Additional Tasks: Perform test restores, review phishing tests and SIEM logs, and assist in cybersecurity incident remediation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and security benchmarks.
  • Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and automation platforms (RMM/SOAR).
  • Experience scripting and writing runbooks.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Qualities

  • Experience in an MSP environment.
  • Relevant certifications (AZ-500, SC-900, SC-300, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
