Information Assurance Security Specialist

Overview

Lensa, in partnership with ICF, is recruiting for an experienced Information Assurance Security Specialist to support a Cybersecurity Risk Management and Compliance program. This role contributes to comprehensive assessments of controls, identifies vulnerabilities, and recommends corrective actions in a fully remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

• Developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures.
• Coordinating and evaluating security programs and controls.
• Conducting vulnerability scans and validating control effectiveness.
• Preparing security and privacy assessment reports.
• Developing corrective action plans and POA&M milestones.

Requirements

Candidates must have a relevant degree or significant experience, a CISSP or equivalent certification, and expertise in vulnerability assessments, control validations, and risk assessments. The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with federal and industry cyber compliance, risk management frameworks, vulnerability assessment tools, and systems diagnostic techniques.
