About the Healthcare Billing Specialist Role

Labcorp is seeking an entry level Healthcare Billing Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management Division. Join a team focused on improving health outcomes and care delivery while gaining new skills and advancing your career.

Responsibilities

  • Enter billing data and compare with source documents
  • Research and verify missing or incorrect billing information
  • Verify insurance information and update billing demographics
  • Communicate with clients and patients to resolve billing issues
  • Meet daily and weekly production goals in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Preferred experience in medical billing, AR/AP, and Claims/Insurance
  • Alpha-Numeric Data Entry proficiency
  • Reliable high-speed internet (50 mbps) for remote work
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Extensive computer and phone work

Additional Information

Pay Range: $17.75 - $21.00 per hourShift: Mon-Fri, 9:00am - 6pm Eastern TimeApplication Window Closes: 10/13/2025Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan where eligible.
