Global Social Media Manager, Luxury
Hyatt's Luxury Global Brand Team is seeking a Global Social Media Manager, Luxury who is genuinely energized by culture—people, place, design, fashion, music, food, art—and the kind of storytelling that moves brands forward. In this role, you'll shape how our luxury brands show up across social: with taste, intention, and a point of view that feels modern, elevated, and unmistakably Hyatt Luxury.
You'll collaborate closely across the broader organization—partnering with Brand Strategy, Brand Marketing, Communications/PR, Paid Media, CRM, and regional teams—to translate brand positioning into content ecosystems, campaign moments, and always-on narratives that resonate with today's luxury travelers. You'll also enable regional leaders and property teams with clear guidance and tools, ensuring social execution is consistent globally while still feeling locally relevant.

The Role
The Global Social Media Manager, Luxury leads social strategy and execution across Hyatt's luxury brands—ensuring our channels express each brand's point of view with consistency, cultural relevance, and luxury-level creative standards. This role partners closely with Global Brand Marketing, Brand Strategy, Communications/PR, Paid Media, CRM, and regional teams to bring campaigns, openings, partnerships, and always-on storytelling to life across platforms—translating brand strategy into content that builds equity and drives performance.
Responsibilities
- Own global social strategy, channel planning, and editorial calendars across luxury brands and key platforms.
- Lead end-to-end execution for major brand moments (campaign launches, openings, partnerships, brand activations, property openings), ensuring social is integrated across creative, PR, and paid media.
- Develop high-quality content ecosystems and brief creative partners/agencies with clear direction, elevated standards, and platform-native thinking.
- Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across social—protecting distinct brand identities while aligning to a global luxury standard.
- Partner with Paid Media to align organic and paid social strategy, optimize content performance, and deliver campaign learnings.
- Coordinate with Communications/PR, legal, and centralized support teams on community management guidelines, escalation protocols, and real-time response support during high-visibility moments.
- Create toolkits, playbooks, and governance to enable regions and properties to execute locally with consistency and nuance through a brand lens.
- Track performance and report insights (content effectiveness, channel trends, audience growth, engagement quality), translating analytics into clear recommendations.
- Support cross-functional special initiatives, including creator/influencer programs, content capture moments, and brand storytelling projects.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience in social media strategy and execution (brand or agency), ideally within luxury, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, fashion/beauty, or culturally-led brands.
- Demonstrated experience leading social strategy, content development, and campaign execution across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Strong command of platform best practices and performance drivers (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.), including evolving formats and audience behaviors.
Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with social publishing, listening, and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Later, CreatorIQ—or comparable platforms).
- Experience partnering with Paid Media and CRM teams to align messaging and maximize impact across the funnel.
- Experience establishing social governance and enabling regional/property teams with toolkits and standards.
- Luxury/hospitality experience and/or global brand portfolio experience across multiple brand identities.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $116,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
